Our Crating Policy: Ensuring a Happy, Safe, and Balanced Day for Your Pup

At Woof, LLC, our top priority is providing a fun, enriching, and safe environment for your dog. We carefully structure our daily schedule to ensure every pup enjoys plenty of playtime while also getting the rest they need to stay happy and healthy.

Why We Use Crates

Crates serve as a safe and comfortable space where dogs can relax, recharge, and enjoy a little downtime. Just like children benefit from a mid-day rest, dogs also need breaks to prevent overstimulation and exhaustion.

Our Daily Crating Schedule

Midday Rest (11:30 AM - 1:00 PM) –

After a morning of active play, all dogs are crated for a well-deserved rest. This break allows them to settle, prevent overtiredness, and maintain positive behavior throughout the afternoon. During this time, our staff also takes their lunch, cleans the facility, and prepares for the rest of the day.

Afternoon Wind-Down (3:30 PM - Pickup) –

As we transition to pickup time, dogs are crated again to ensure a calm and orderly departure. This helps them relax before heading home, prevents overstimulation at the end of the day, and allows for an easy handoff when you arrive.

Comfort & Care During Crate Time

Every dog is provided a comfortable, appropriately sized crate. Water is available, and we monitor each pup to ensure they are settled. For dogs who aren’t accustomed to crates, we work gently to help them adjust and ensure they feel safe and secure.

We understand that some pet parents may have concerns about crating but rest assured that our structured schedule is designed to give your dog a balanced mix of play, rest, and socialization.
